Taljaard Earthworks

Taljaard Earthworks, Civils and Plant Hire cc was established in 2008. The company started of slowly, feeling its way into the industry, providing a service in earthworks and civils to numerous smaller companies.

Whilst working in close coordination with its associated company, Taljaard Gardens and Paving, established in 2006, it was clear that there was room for both companies to expand. In a few years, Taljaard Earthworks and Civils have grown from strength to strength, expanding its customer base and successfully completing numerous large projects.

Scope of Works

Having the advantage that the two companies work so closely together, we are able to provide our customers with service from start to finish – making the transition between the different processes so much easier. It in return gives the customer the comfort that the project is handled by one only contractor, reducing the chain of communication between the different parties.

Road preparation

Stormwater and Water Sewer reticulation
Paving – All preparation and Installations

Plant Hire

In 2010, Taljaard Earthworks and Civils expanded further to include Taljaard Plant Hire. Starting off with a few earthmoving machines to assist in projects, customers also requested to hire the equipment. The fleet has since grown to such an extent that both the project and plant hire requests could be accommodated simultaneously. In the instance where we fall short, we have the support of various sub-contractors ie. Renico Plant, Drilling and Blasting as well as Transport companies.

Though the majority of projects are based in the Westrand, Roodepoort and Johannesburg surroundings, we have contracted as far as Mpumalanga, Vaal triangle, Rustenburg to the East Rand in Springs.
